About RIVERMAN TRIPS
 |
We
run small, intimate trips led by guides who do
more than ensure your safety. Our seasoned
guides know the heritage, history, wildlife and
river lore of the trips they run - and they are
great wilderness people. All river equipment is
provided. On half day trips we provide
refreshments, starting with coffee on arrival.
On full day trips we provide refreshments &
lunch. Multi-day trips may be catered by us (one
price) or self-catered by you on a menu that we
recommend for easy river packing. A full kit
list with advisories on what to expect is
provided on booking. Transport depends on the
trip and on multi-day trips usually involves a
shuttle of personal cars to the end, allowing
you to leave immediately on completing the trip.

Trips from
Otters' Haunt are run on demand, most
weekends and often on weekdays for teambuilding
groups. Get a group together, minimum 6, and we
will run a trip for you. Special trips are run
at short notice when the river is high after
rains or dam releases, and offered to those on
the Whitewater Watch List.
