ZINGELA KIT LIST
FOR NQF SKILLS WORKSHOP, 3-7 DEC 2007
Bring
your equipment with you on the workshop. Some will be
made available from group resources. After the course,
you will probably want to invest in new items.
Mountaineering shops are best for general stuff, but
specialised river suppliers
must be approached for river safety and rescue gear. Try
Hugh du Preez at Whitewater Training in Parys, Andrew
Kellett at Gravity Adventures in Cape Town, and Bruce
Campbell at Xtreme Equipment in Estcourt. Bruce will be
attending the workshop and could bring in your order or
advise you of other suppliers. Items highlighted
in yellow are
available, though the ideal is to have your own
equipment when you work as a guide. Items highlighted
in blue are
specialised equipment for river safety and rescue.
